This original design by GatewayAlpha, lightweight, reversible wooden Cardinal bird pendant is hand carved in Bloodwood, a very rare and sought after exotic hardwood that originates from Brazil, a wood highly prized for its satin-like iridescence that a camera can hardly capture. These images show the actual pendant you will receive. However, this particular wood darkens with age, therefore by the time you will receive this pendant the wood might have settled into darker tones.

- The pendant measures approximately 2" tall by 0.65" wide, and for a better visualization of its size please check out the picture with the pendant next to a US quarter.
- The pendant comes with an adjustable 18-20" black Korea waxed cord with lobster clasp, ready to wear. The waxed cord has a shinny snakeskin like texture and is a great non-fraying alternative to leather.

The pendant comes in a jewelry box ready for gift giving, free of charge.

The pendant is sealed with three or more layers of wood lacquer in order to protect the wood against moisture and the environment. The lacquer makes the pendant moisture resistant, but not waterproof. We recommend for this product to be removed before showering or swimming.

The exotic and domestic woods we are using to create our products come from small pieces (trims) left behind by the musical instruments and deluxe furniture outlining process. Our products are not machine produced, but exclusively carved by hand.
